Then a system design round focused entirely on front end: how would you version a design system across four teams without breaking anyone. Final round with the VP was mostly about how I handle disagreement with design. They care about opinions being held loosely. Do not present one right answer.
Screening, technical, culture. The technical round was live coding — implement a debounce, then a virtualised list. I got through both but stumbled explaining why my virtualisation approach would break with variable-height rows, which was the actual question. Feedback came in four days, which is better than most. They said depth over breadth and they meant it.
